It might seem like the holidays are hard for those of us who eat grain-free. While it is definitely difficult to eat (and avoid!) anything store bought, holiday recipes are actually pretty adaptable. This includes yummy Christmas cookies, like these grain-free chocolate chips. You don’t need corn syrup, artificial dyes, or sugar to satisfy your sweet tooth. And though cookies might not be the healthiest food, these are oh-so-clooossseee to being guilt-free!
These are the chewy chocolate chips that I make with almond flour. They are so simple and my kids love them. I realize that chocolate chips are pretty versatile and not limited to the holidays – but the only time my mom ever baked cookies from scratch was at Christmastime, and they always included chocolate chips. So, I can’t imagine the holidays without them. I put my basic Christmas cookie recipe in my December newsletter (sign up here), and I’ll be posting more grain-free cookie recipes throughout the month – so check back soon! Hope that makes your holidays a little sweeter!
This recipe is grain-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, and corn-free, and almost (there is organic cane sugar in the chips) Paleo and GAPS-legal.
