My son, who has autism, still has a long way to go, but we have made progess. So I want to end Autism Awareness Month focusing on these wins. We may not have major milestones, but we have a million tiny pebbles. That may take longer and make it more difficult to build our mountain, but we still keep going.
Our children are in there. Talk to them as if they understand everting you say and one day they just may let you know that they do hear and understand you.
